Delete Your ClubWUs Account

This page explains how to delete your account in the ClubWUs app, developed by ClubWUs LLC, and what happens to your information.

Option 1: Delete in the App

Open ClubWUs and sign in.
Go to your account settings.
Select the option to delete your account, and confirm.

Option 2: Request Deletion Online

If you cannot use the app, submit a deletion request using the form below, or email support@clubwus.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject "Delete My Account."

Include your username. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm the request from that email address.

Before You Delete

Club primary managers: if you are the primary manager of a club, first transfer that role to another eligible member. If no one can take over, contact support@clubwus.com and we will help you close the club.
Want your posts and comments removed? Tell us in your request or email legal@clubwus.com.
Deletion is permanent. You will not be able to recover your account or content.

What We Delete

When your account is deleted, we delete:

Your account details, including email, username, display name, and password.
Your profile, including your profile photo and the location and interests you chose.
Images you uploaded.
Your club memberships, RSVPs, and push notification tokens.

We complete deletion within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days of your request.

What We May Keep

Posts and comments you made in clubs may remain so that conversations still make sense, without your name, photo, or profile link, and will be shown as from a "deleted user." If you would like them removed, or if any of them still identifies you, email legal@clubwus.com and we will remove them.
Limited records that we need for security, fraud prevention, handling reports and legal claims, or to comply with the law. We keep these only as long as necessary.
Backups, which are overwritten in our normal backup cycle.
